Where in the heck is Chloride?
Bob says, "From Kingman go North on US 93 about 10 miles, pass Mineral Park Road, pass the ruins of Santa Claus Arizona (on your left), then at Grasshopper Junction (about 5 miles north of Santa Claus), turn right at the big Chloride sign.
While that works for Bob (he usually finds his way home)  , we suggest from Kingman take US 93 North (which is a good 4 lane road) about 18 miles, turn right at the Chloride billboard at county road 125. Chloride is 4 miles up the road.
The road is blacktop.
From Las Vegas; if you're on I-15, exit on I-515 south. I-515 south ends at US93. Continue south on US93 over Hoover Dam.......
"Doggone it Bob!! Ok, I'll use your directions."
Bob says, "Find Hoover Dam, keep going south. Pass Keepers of the Wild animal park, Rosie's Den (Restaurant), Pierce Ferry Road, Big Wash Road, then turn left at Grasshopper Junction.
Ok, Bob finally left...after you cross Hoover Dam stay on US 93 South for 53 miles, then turn left onto county road 125 at the Chloride billboard which is on your left. Grasshopper Junction is on your right. Go 4 miles up county road 125. |
To go to Van Meter's Silversmithing. Come into Chloride and at the stop sign, continue straight up the hill and they are just past 6th Street. Continue past Van Meters 1 & 1/2 miles to go to the murals. (check road conditions BEFORE going to the Murals)
To go to Yesterday's Restaurant, Shep's Miners Inn, Purcell Galleries of Fine Art, and Free Spirit. Come into Chloride and at the stop sign, turn right and go one block. |
